Vouloir, pouvoir, devoir / Want, can, must

These three modal verbs are essential for expressing wishes, abilities, and obligations. They are irregular and followed by an infinitive verb.

Vouloir — To Want

Structure: Modal + Infinitive

These verbs are always followed by a verb in the infinitive:

• Je veux parler français. — I want to speak French.
• Elle peut venir demain. — She can come tomorrow.
• Nous devons étudier. — We must study.
